WHAT IS CHRIST FOR THE NATIONS INSTITUTE?
Christ For The Nations Institute is a Bible-centered organization that exists to provide practical training to future world changers. We believe that a Christian must possess a foundation cemented in Scriptural truths, a personal mission to see the lost saved and empowered as well as a desire to worship God in all areas of life. Classes that we offer cover the foundation of Christianity and extend into the details of pastoral care and ministry, worship leading and songwriting, and much more. Countless lives world-wide have been impacted by the message of Jesus Christ that our 40,000+ students and alumni have taken with them throughout the world. No matter what area of ministry you are called to, CFNI provides practical training that will remain with you for the duration of your life and ministry.
CHOOSE A PROGRAM
Designed to Train and Empower You to Walk Out Your Calling
Our day school consists of 20 study hours per week, daily worship encounters, co-enrollment opportunities with Dallas Baptist University and Grand Canyon University and summer learning experiences in the form internships and outreaches. CFNI offers multiple study programs The CBS 1-year program offers students an immersive experience centered around the foundations of Christianity and personal ministry. The APT 2-year program allows students to select classes, experiencing a personalized student schedule filled with theology and personal ministry. The BPM 3-year program enables students to select a major for focused education in fields of ministry such as Biblical Counseling, Children and Family, Pastoral, Worship and more. The ASD 1-year program is an intensive, hands-on learning experience, which has been developed for vocational church leaders and ministers. In total, CFNI offers 4 total degree programs, multiple majors and a program specifically offered to students who prefer to learn in Spanish.
Certificate of Biblical Study (CBS)
Our one-year certificate provides a basic understanding of foundational principles for ministry and is great for those looking to boost their biblical knowledge and experience.
- - Two semesters of curated courses to give you a solid foundation for your ministry.
- - Hands-on training in the student ministry of your choice, giving you a chance to apply what you learn.
- - A summer learning experience in the form of an international outreach or one of our on-campus summer internships.
Associate of Practical Theology (APT)
Our two-year associate's degree combines the foundational study of our one-year certificate with a deeper exploration of the Bible and elements of ministry, perfect for the preacher, teacher or evangelist-in-training.
- - Two semesters of foundational courses and two semesters of elective courses that will increase your faith and enhance your theological understanding.
- - Hands-on training in the student ministry of your choice, giving you a chance to apply what you learn.
- - A summer learning experience in the form of an international outreach or one of our on-campus summer internships.
Bachelor of Practical Ministry (BPM)
Our three-year bachelor’s degree provides students with a full-fledged education that builds on the foundation of our first year, the theology of our second and adds an additional year of focused education in a specific area of ministry, leaving you ready to take what you’ve learned into your field.
- - Two semesters of foundational courses, two semesters of electives and two semesters of education in a major of your choosing.
- - Hands-on training in the student ministry of your choice, giving you a chance to apply what you learn.
- - A group project and ministry-focused practicum to solidify your ministry training.
- - A summer learning experience either in the form of an international outreach or one of our on-campus summer internships.
Advanced Studies Diploma (ASD)
Our one-year diploma provides students with the intensive study and hands-on experience of our third year program without requiring them to complete the first two years at Christ For The Nations Institute. This option was created for vocational ministers and church leaders who desire to boost their knowledge and experience in their field without completing our full program.
- - Two semesters in a major of your choosing.
- - A group project and ministry-focused practicum to solidify your ministry training.
Program Qualifications:
Students in this program must meet at least one of the three qualifications below.
1. Student has earned at least a 2-year theological degree.
2. Student has earned a Bachelor's degree AND has at least 2-years of full-time ministry experience.
3. Student is 40+ years of age AND has several years of full-time ministry experience.
Spanish Program
Ofrecemos cursos en español para aquellos estudiantes interesados en vivir la experiencia de Cristo Para Las Naciones inmersos en la lengua y cultura hispana.
- - Todas las clases del primer año impartidas completamente en español.
- - Ministerio estudiantil en español.
- - Experiencia de aprendizaje y entrenamiento durante el verano en nuestros campamentos o en uno de nuestros viajes misioneros.
- - Clases de inglés como segunda lengua (ESL) para los estudiantes que deseen continuar sus estudios en un segundo o tercer año.

Q: What is CFNI all about?
A: Christ For The Nations Institute exists to train world changers to boldly take the message of Jesus into all the world.
Q: Are all ages welcome?
A: All students are required to be over the age of 17, having earned a high school diploma. We believe that, no matter the age of the person, God supplies opportunities for both personal and public ministry. Christ For The Nations embraces ministerial and spiritual knowledge, wisdom and experience regardless of the person’s age. Nobody is too old to embrace the call of God on his or her life.
Q: How is CFNI prioritizing student safety during the COVID-19 pandemic?
A: CFNI is currently requiring all students to wear masks and practice social distancing at all times while on campus. Students must go through a wellness checkpoint every morning prior to classes. Sanitation stations are located at the entrance of every classroom and main building on campus. Each public space utilized by students is sanitized before they arrive and after they leave. Should any student become sick during the semester, teachers will provide them with pre-recorded lectures, detailed class notes and/or offer them a livestream option until they have fully recovered.
